I’m here for the love of the space. The love of Black Romance. The love of indie Black authors. That’s always been my reason for being here. But lately, I’ve been wondering—have we all kept sight of that love? Are we still moving with the same energy and intentions that brought us here?
At this table, we don’t have to justify the significance, vitality, and beauty of Black love in literature. This is our community. While social media is great for our conversations and making connections, this blog is my home base. Here, our conversations can be expanded without the confines of community guidelines or fighting the algorithms that favor content that doesn’t look like us.
